Project Brief

The goal for this salon’s branding was to create something sleek and elegant that also alluded to the owner’s proficiency in vintage styling. Its clientele warranted a certain sophistication, but the owner also wanted a youthful, colorful atmosphere.

Pairing pink and fun, illustrative elements with a deep green and modern, minimalist type produced the desired balance. In the end, I feel we landed on a design fit for Lucille Ball herself.
